Math Kangaroo (MK) is an international math competition open to all students in grades 1 - 12 but particularly popular among elementary school students. MK offers a variety of non-standard problems that serve as a great introduction to the world of math competitions for young students.

Test Format:

- Online. 75 Minute multiple choice test.

- 24 questions for students in grades 1-4. 30 questions for students in grades 5 and up

- Participants will be ranked based on their performance ​within the center's state.

- Students will take the test from home using a computer or laptop with an active camera.

Registration Fees:

Registration fees are paid directly to Math Kangaroo. Regular registration: $28 (September 15 – December 31, 2024); late registration: $35 (January 1 – March 15, 2025). No cancellations or refunds are offered after registration.

Families facing financial hardship can apply for support by contacting the Math Kangaroo Office at info@mathkangaroo.org with appropriate documentation.
