Perfect for keeping math skills sharp through the summer.
Students will continue applying and practicing math concepts and learning new tricks without realizing that they are learning math!
Lessons do not follow the traditional one-way lecture format. They are fully interactive and consist of fun math riddles, puzzles, games, and math competition problems.
Classes are stand-alone and do not have to be taken in sequence, allowing for easy scheduling around vacations.
Groups of 3-6 students meet online once a week for 60 minutes.
$210 for the summer. 10% discount is available when also registering for our Competition Math Summer Program.

Apply math skills to fun puzzles and games to keep your student engaged and exploring applications of math this summer!
Each week has a separate theme, e.g. pirates, space, animals, with games featuring the theme.
See how we can use math to help us solve problems related food, video games, geography, and much more. Math is more than just numbers and equations!
Our Fun Math puzzles incorporate skills such as cryptography, patterns, spatial reasoning and observation, and algebraic thinking with pictures.
A typical Fun Math class may look like this:
Warm-Up Puzzle (first 5 min) - as students enter the classroom, give them something to think about and get excited about as we start today's lesson
"Take-Home Puzzle" Review (5-10 min) - each week, students are given an optional puzzle to complete at home, to extend the week's learning. We review the solutions to the take-home puzzle the following week.
Core Puzzles (40 min) - students learn a new theme, new skills, and new applications to math and logic through puzzles and games.
During class time students are encouraged to:
Share their ideas verbally, in turns
Write/annotate their ideas on the shared screen or separate whiteboard spaces
Chat questions and answers to the teacher
Our teachers facilitate learning by:
Asking guiding questions rather than giving direct answers
Ensuring each student participates equally in class via talking, writing/drawing, or chatting solutions
Students come to class not exactly sure what to expect and leave with a feeling of "I can do it" and "that was awesome"
They love challenging friends and family with cool new tricks and and math games
They are excited to come back next week to learn more!
Math is no longer scary and boring
We form small groups to pay attention to each student. Classes start in:
Andy Caskanette
Stephanie Norman
Anna Margolis
Jessie Antonellis-John
Katya Osipova
